The cast of the\u00a0Neil Diamond<\/strong>\u00a0musical\u00a0A Beautiful Noise<\/em>\u00a0has once again marked the legendary singer\u2019s birthday in a big way.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The singer turned 83 on Wednesday, January 24. Following a matinee of the show, the cast, including \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d winner\u00a0Nick Fradiani<\/strong>, Tony Award nominee\u00a0Mark Jacoby<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Amber Ardolino<\/strong>, led the audience in a rendition of \u201cHappy Birthday,” with streamers and cake part of the celebration.<\/p>\n

Diamond watched the whole thing via FaceTime and\u00a0told the crowd, \u201cI wish I was there with you.\u201d He then stayed on the line as the cast led the audience in a rousing rendition of the Diamond classic \u201cSweet Caroline.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

A Beautiful Noise – The Neil Diamond Musical\u00a0<\/em>is currently playing at the Broadhurst Theatre. It features a variety of Diamond\u2019s biggest hits, including \u201cCracklin\u2019 Rosie,\u201d \u201cI\u2019m a Believer,\u201d \u201cSong Sung Blue\u201d and \u201cSweet Caroline.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
