A woman has been charged with stalking\u00a0Harry Styles<\/strong>\u00a0and causing him \u201cserious alarm or distress.\u201d<\/p>\n

After an incident occurred in London, England, on Monday, 35-year-old\u00a0Myra Carvalho<\/strong>\u00a0appeared before a U.K. magistrates court the next day.<\/p>\n

While exact details on the incident were not disclosed, the alleged stalking had \u201ca substantial adverse effect on [Styles\u2019] usual day-to-day activities,\u201d the charge said, according to\u00a0The Evening Standard<\/a><\/em>. Carvalho was also accused of \u201cstalking involving serious alarm or distress.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carvalho was staying at a hostel in London before she was remanded to custody by District Judge\u00a0Denis Brennan<\/strong>. She\u2019ll return to court on February 20.<\/p>\n
