It was the biggest night in music on Sunday, with the 2024 Grammy Awards hosted yet again by\u00a0Trevor Noah<\/strong>\u00a0at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u00a0won the night\u2019s top award, picking up Album of the Year for\u00a0Midnights<\/em>. This makes her the first person to win the award four times. Earlier in the ceremony, she won her 13th Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, also for\u00a0Midnights<\/em>, where she celebrated by announcing her upcoming 11th studio album,\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>. \u201cI want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I\u2019ve been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19,\u201d Taylor said.<\/p>\n

Right before Taylor’s big win,\u00a0Billy Joel<\/strong>\u00a0took the stage to sing his single, \u201cTurn the Lights Back On,\u201d his first new song in 17 years. He received a standing ovation as Trevor Noah welcomed\u00a0Celine Dion<\/strong>\u00a0to the stage to present Taylor Swift with Album of the Year. The crowd remained standing throughout Celine\u2019s surprise appearance on stage.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I say I\u2019m happy to be here, I really mean it, from my heart,\u201d Celine said. She made this rare public appearance after she shared her diagnosis of Stiff-Person Syndrome in December 2022.<\/p>\n

Miley Cyrus<\/strong>\u00a0won her first career Grammys \u2013 for Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year \u2013 for her song \u201cFlowers.\u201d She also performed the track live for the third time ever. \u201cWhy are y’all acting like you don\u2019t know this song?\u201d she asked in the middle of her performance, before she happily exclaimed, \u201cI just won my first Grammy!\u201d<\/p>\n

Later in the night,\u00a0Billie Eilish<\/strong>\u00a0won Song of the Year for her emotional ballad, \u201cWhat Was I Made For?\u201d from\u00a0Barbie<\/em>. She also performed the song during the ceremony, as her brother,\u00a0Finneas<\/strong>, accompanied her on piano.\u00a0<\/p>\n
