The Go-Go<\/strong>\u2019s are getting back together, at least for the night.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The band’s frontwoman,\u00a0Belinda Carlisle<\/strong>,\u00a0teased the news<\/a>\u00a0on X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing a photo of a drum with the band\u2019s name on it and the caption, \u201cGuess who I’m rehearsing with????\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Go-Go\u2019s\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0account then spilled the beans that the performance would be part of\u00a0the group’s\u00a0California Hall of Fame induction.\u00a0Alongside a picture of the whole band, they wrote, \u201cWhen you’re getting in the California Hall of Fame, it’s only right to celebrate with a little music, hey!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Hall of Fame induction is happening Tuesday, February 6, at 9 p.m. PT. Fans who want to see the reunion performance will be able to do so via a livestream on the California Museum’s\u00a0YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Formed in California in 1978, The Go-Go\u2019s \u2014 Carlisle,\u00a0Gina Schock<\/strong>,\u00a0Kathy Valentine<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Jane Wiedlin\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0 released their debut album,\u00a0Beauty and the Beat,<\/em>\u00a0in 1981. It topped the charts and contained four Hot 100 Hits, including \u201cOur Lips Are Sealed\u201d and \u201cWe Got The Beat.\u201d They went on to sell over\u00a07 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021.<\/p>\n
