The March issue of\u00a0British Vogue<\/em>\u00a0is the last to be overseen by editor-in-chief\u00a0Edward Enninful<\/strong>, the first Black person to hold that title. Since he wanted to go out with a bang, he assembled\u00a040 legendary women<\/a>, including\u00a0Miley Cyrus\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Dua Lipa<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>to pose together for the cover of his final issue.<\/p>\n

On the\u00a0cover,<\/a>\u00a0shot in December in New York City by legendary photographer\u00a0Steven Meisel<\/strong>, Dua\u00a0wears<\/a>\u00a0a crochet dress by Celine while Miley\u00a0sports<\/a>\u00a0a draped nylon playsuit by Maison Margiela.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some of the\u00a0other women on the cover<\/a>\u00a0are\u00a0Oprah Winfrey<\/strong>,\u00a0Jane Fonda<\/strong>,\u00a0Victoria Beckham<\/strong>,\u00a0Gigi Hadid<\/strong>,\u00a0Iman<\/strong>,\u00a0Anya Taylor-Joy<\/strong>,\u00a0Cindy Crawford<\/strong>,\u00a0Selma Blair<\/strong>,\u00a0Naomi Campbell<\/strong>,\u00a0Gemma Chan<\/strong>,\u00a0Serena Williams<\/strong>,\u00a0Salma Hayek<\/strong>,\u00a0Ariana DeBose<\/strong>,\u00a0Cara Delevingne<\/strong>,\u00a0Laverne Cox<\/strong>,\u00a0Cynthia Erivo<\/strong>,\u00a0Linda Evangelista<\/strong>,\u00a0Karlie Kloss\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Kate Moss<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Enninful says, “When it came to my last issue, I knew the cover would be dedicated to women … it was clear to all of us on the team that no one woman could or should encapsulate these past few years for the magazine.”<\/p>\n

As far as how he chose the women, he explains, “They … needed to have reached beyond fashion and culture to change the fabric of society in the 2020s, in ways small and large and always positive.”<\/p>\n
