After mentioning\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u00a0in one of the songs on his new album,\u00a0Vultures,<\/em>\u00a0Kanye West<\/strong>\u00a0has taken to Instagram to address the perceptions of his relationship with Taylor.<\/p>\n

In the song “Carnival,” Ye raps, “I mean since Taylor Swift\/ since I had the Rollie on the wrist\/ I\u2019m the new Jesus, b****.\u201d Ye wrote in an all-caps post\u00a0on Instagram<\/a>, “WHEN I SAID THAT I\u2019M THE NEW JESUS B**** I WASN\u2019T EVEN THINKING ABOUT TAYLOR SWIFT THAT WAS A WHOLE LINE BEFORE BUT I APPRECIATE THE FREE PROMO.”<\/p>\n

Ye notes, “REMEMBER I WAS ON TAYLOR\u2019S SIDE WHEN\u00a0SCOOTER<\/strong>\u00a0BOUGHT HER MASTERS BEHIND HER BACK. SHE AND\u00a0BEYONC\u00c9<\/strong>\u00a0ARE BIG INSPIRATIONS TO ALL MUSICIANS WE ALWAYS SAY HOW BOTH SELL OUT TOURS AND MOVIES.”<\/p>\n

He then makes this claim: “ALSO, I\u2019M SURE I\u2019VE BEEN FAR MORE HELPFUL TO TAYLOR SWIFT\u2019S CAREER THAN HARMFUL.\u00a0TO ALL TAYLOR SWIFT FANS I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY UUUM IM NOT YOUR FRIEND EITHER THOUGH LOL.”<\/p>\n

Ye also addressed rumors that Taylor had him “kicked out of the Super Bowl” because he had\u00a0seats in front of her VIP suite.<\/p>\n

“I DIDN\u2019T GET KICKED OUT OF THE SUPER BOWL WE LEFT OUR SEATS TO GO TO\u00a0YG<\/strong>\u2019S BOX AND SEE DIFFERENT FRIENDS,” he writes. “MY WIFE HAD NEVER BEEN TO A SUPER BOWL SO I WANTED TO WALK AROUND AND HAVE A NICE TIME WE HAD SUCH A FUN DAY.”<\/p>\n

Taylor and Kanye’s feud began in 2009 when he interrupted her speech at the MTV VMAs. The two buried the hatchet, but began feuding again in 2016 after Kanye claimed she’d given him permission to call her a “b****” in his song “Famous.”<\/p>\n
