Some of the biggest bands of the ’80s may be coming to a venue near you this spring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans of the decade will be able to get their dance on during the new Abducted by the 80s tour, set to kick off May 17 in Kyle, Texas, featuring\u00a0Wang Chung<\/strong>, Men Without Hats<\/strong>, The\u00a0Motels<\/strong> and Naked Eyes<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

These bands are responsible for some of the biggest hits of that decade,\u00a0including Wang Chung\u2019s “Everybody Have Fun Tonight\u201d and “Dance Hall Days”; Men Without Hats\u2019 \u201cSafety Dance\u201d; The\u00a0Motels\u2019 \u201cOnly The Lonely” and “Suddenly Last Summer\u201d; and Naked Eyes\u2019 \u201cPromises Promises.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

“For our brand new tour this spring, we have put together a group of acts that fit together musically, thematically, and harmoniously,” Wang Chung’s Nick Feldman<\/strong> and Jack Hues<\/strong> share. “We wanted to create a night of big hits, big songs from your favorite movies and numerous TV shows, plus a few deeper cuts too.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Motels’ Martha Davis<\/strong> adds, \u201cI’m so excited to be reunited with Wang Chung and Naked Eyes for the Abducted by the\u00a0’80s tour this year. Nick, Jack, and (Naked Eyes’) Pete (Byrne)<\/strong> are some of my favorite people, not to mention amazing musicians!”<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n
