I\u2019ll just say that.\u201d Now that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.the-sun.com\/tv\/10890932\/vanderpump-rules-scheana-shay-john-mayer-denies-hookup-rumors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>reports have come out<\/strong><\/a> that John had denied her story, Shay is denying the denials.<\/p>\n<p>In the April 5 episode of her podcast,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/d2FnE6JB8yM?list=PLmf2qSa7K9m_cfjRdgL0Rima7CzcpRseV&amp;t=1238\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Scheananigans with Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>Shay said, &#8220;I mean, I\u2019m sure John doesn\u2019t love being a storyline on <em>VPR.\u00a0<\/em>But where did he deny this?\u201d she asked. \u201cBecause I\u2019m pretty sure it was [the tabloid] <em>The Sun\u00a0<\/em>who made that claim. And when I looked at the article, it looks like they just made this up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>The Sun<\/em> article quotes a &#8220;source close to John&#8221; who claims, &#8220;John has told several people close to him that he never hooked up with Scheana &#8230; he&#8217;s very annoyed by the entire thing and wants nothing to do with her.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Shay continued, &#8220;There weren\u2019t quotes from John [and] there weren\u2019t quotes from his team. There was nothing else in there &#8230; I just wouldn\u2019t believe anything that they have to say, so there\u2019s that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shay also pointed out that when her relationship with John was first <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TVwallah\/status\/1773720705340670094\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>reported<\/strong><\/a> in 2009, there were no denials from him.<\/p>\n<p>Shay has claimed in the past that she met John in 2008 when she was a waitress at an exclusive club, and the two started dating after he broke up with\u00a0<strong>Jennifer Aniston<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
