She closed the stand April 9 by bringing out another special guest:<strong> Jewel.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The two performed Jewel&#8217;s 1995 hit &#8220;You Were Meant for Me.&#8221;\u00a0 According to<em> <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/pop\/olivia-rodrigo-duets-jewel-you-were-meant-for-me-msg-show-1235652861\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Billboard<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, Olivia told the crowd, &#8220;She is such an incredible songwriter. When I first started writing my songs, I would listen to her album\u00a0<em>Pieces of You\u00a0<\/em>before I went to bed. She\u2019s incredible and it\u2019s such an honor that she\u2019s here with me tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jewel posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/jewel\/3342808369021280828\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>footage<\/strong><\/a> of the performance on her Instagram Story. She&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C2K6T6uuEUA\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>touring<\/strong><\/a> with <strong>Melissa Etheridge<\/strong> this July, August, September and October.<\/p>\n<p>The April 9 show served as the wrap-up for the first leg of Oliva&#8217;s GUTS World Tour.\u00a0 She&#8217;ll start her European leg April 30 in Dublin, Ireland, and return to the U.S for another North American leg starting July 19 in Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
