Whitby\/Getty Images for Disney+<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><strong>Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong> is going down memory lane as he looks\u00a0back at his\u00a0life as a rock and roll legend fronting one of the most successful bands of all time, <strong>Bon Jovi<\/strong>,\u00a0with a career that spanned four decades,\u00a0in a new Hulu docuseries, <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Ahead of its debut, Jon sat down with <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Good Morning America<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> anchor <strong>Michael Strahan<\/strong> for an ABC special, <\/span><em><span class=\"s1\">Michael Strahan x Jon Bon Jovi: Halfway There<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\">, to discuss his life and legacy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em><span class=\"s1\">GMA<\/span><\/em><span class=\"s1\"> aired a sneak peek of the interview on Wednesday, April 23, in which the singer opened up about his career&#8217;s effect on his relationship.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Jon has been married to his high school sweetheart\u00a0<strong>Dorothea Hurley\u00a0<\/strong>for over 30 years.\u00a0When Strahan mentioned that his success must have been &#8220;tough on a relationship,&#8221; Jon replied, &#8220;That&#8217;s nonsense.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;I got away with murder. I say it again on camera,&#8221; he added. &#8220;I&#8217;m a rock and roll star. I&#8217;m not a saint. You know, I&#8217;m not saying that, that there weren&#8217;t a hundred girls in my life. I&#8217;m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Despite all the attention he received from being in the spotlight, Jon said they weren&#8217;t worth being entertained.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;If you think I was ever gonna jeopardize anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do,&#8221; he said. &#8220;What kind of excess does a man need that&#8217;s gonna fuel that fire. It is just not worth it.
