Former Bon Jovi<\/strong> guitarist Richie Sambora<\/strong> has released the new solo single \u201c<\/span>Livin\u2019 Alone<\/strong><\/span><\/a>,\u201d one of four tracks he plans to release in May.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sambora previously released the tune \u201cI Pray,\u201d with \u201cSongs That Wrote My Life” due out May 10 and \u201cBelieve (In Miracles)\u201d coming May 17.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sambora also just shared a clip from the interview he did for the Bon Jovi Hulu docuseries <\/span>Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story,<\/span><\/em> which he says got left on the cutting room floor. In the clip <\/span>posted to Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, Richie\u00a0talks about what went into his decision to leave the band.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt’s really hard to be married to four guys and be in close quarters the way we were. That coupled with my daughter coming of age, my wife’s mental health stuff was really acting up and she needed me \u2014 and I needed her,” he says.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don’t regret leaving the situation, but I regret how I did it,\u201d he adds. \u201cSo, I would like to apologize fully right now to the fans, especially also to the guys, because my feet and my spirit were just not letting me walk out the door.”<\/span><\/p>\n

He also talks about how\u00a0he was being treated\u00a0at the time of his departure, noting, “I was in this organization for 31 1\/2 years, and everybody has their personal tragedies and things like that, but I didn’t receive a lot of compassion coming back for what I was going through.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
