Most Bon Jovi<\/strong> fans are still hoping\u00a0to see guitarist Richie Sambora<\/strong>\u00a0back onstage with the band some day, and it appears\u00a0he hasn\u2019t ruled it out.<\/span><\/p>\n

Sambora, who departed the group in 2013, reveals in a new interview with <\/span>The Allison Hagendorf Show<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>that\u00a0he’s definitely\u00a0open to performing with his former bandmates again.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIf he gets [his voice] back, I\u2019ll go play. I got songs,\u201d Sambora said, referring to frontman Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong>, who is still recovering from vocal cord surgery he had in 2022. \u201cI swear to God. It\u2019s the honest-to-God truth … I told everybody that I would without a doubt go back. The world needs it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

And there\u2019s one main reason why Sambora would be open to the reunion: the fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe fans will just love it,\u201d he says. \u201cIt\u2019s not finance, it has nothing to do with that. The world could use it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But\u00a0it sounds like Richie isn\u2019t 100 percent\u00a0convinced Jon can\u00a0recover enough to sing like he used to.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s an iffy thing at best,\u201d he says. \u201cI don\u2019t know if there\u2019s anybody that has ever had that be successful. I\u2019m not really sure about that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

But while\u00a0fans wait for that reunion to possibly happen, there’s plenty of music for them to enjoy. Sambora recently released two new solo singles, \u201cI Pray\u201d and \u201cLivin\u2019 Alone,\u201d with two more on the way: \u201cSongs That Wrote My Life,” coming May 10, and \u201cBelieve (In Miracles),\u201d coming May 17. Plus, Bon Jovi is dropping a new album, Forever<\/em>, on June 7.<\/p>\n
