I think we had some very special memories, and we feel so privileged to have been able to create those roles and be a part of something that was so special for a lot of young kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With that being said, Grande reveals she is \u201creprocessing [my] relationship to it a little bit now, if that makes sense.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While neither Grande nor Badgley mention <strong>Dan Schneider<\/strong> by name \u2014 or the documentary <em>Quiet on Set<\/em>, which brought to light many allegations of misconduct during his tenure at Nickelodeon \u2014 Grande did say it has been \u201cdevastating\u201d to hear stories from former child actors who have come forward, referring to them as survivors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think the environment needs to be made safer if kids are going to be acting, and I think there should be therapists,\u201d Grande said.<\/p>\n<p>She also mentioned feeling uncomfortable revisiting certain plot lines from <em>Victorious<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe were convinced [that] was the cool thing about us \u2014 is that we pushed the envelope with our humor,\u201d Grande said. \u201cAnd the innuendos were &#8230; it was, like, the cool differentiation. And I don\u2019t know, I think it just all happened so quickly and now looking back on some of the clips I\u2019m like, \u2018D***, really? Oh s***.\u2019 &#8230; And the things that weren\u2019t approved for the network were snuck onto like our website or whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI guess I\u2019m upset, yeah,\u201d Grande continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
