This Pride Month, Meghan Trainor<\/strong> is talking about how much she supports the LGBTQIA+ community.<\/p>\n

In a new interview with The Standard<\/em><\/a>, Meghan made sure her support for trans people was known.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe trans community was getting destroyed while I was going through my C-section and I was like, what\u2019s going on? I feel like we\u2019re going backwards. Did you all forget how to love? Because all I\u2019m seeing is hate,\u201d Trainor said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy gay audience means everything,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s getting scarier. I hope we can move forward like we were almost doing. I can\u2019t even imagine how everyone feels now. Probably unsafe and scared.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan also opened up about politics, saying she has focused her energy on getting people to vote. \u201cI try to get my voice out there and say \u2018make sure you vote\u2019. When I turned 18 I didn\u2019t even know how to vote or how to register,\u201d Meghan said.<\/p>\n

As for her opinion on the upcoming presidential election in November? Meghan expressed some worries.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a wild world over here in America. Please vote, for the love of God,” Meghan said.<\/p>\n
