Justin Bieber<\/strong> is currently in India, amid expectations that he’s there to perform at the pre-wedding celebration\u00a0for the son of a billionaire.<\/p>\n

People<\/em> reports<\/a> that Justin was photographed arriving in Mumbai on Friday.\u00a0IndiaToday<\/em><\/a> reports that he spent his first few hours in the country FaceTiming his pregnant wife,\u00a0Hailey<\/strong>, and soundchecking for his reported performance at Anant Ambani<\/strong> and Radhika Merchant<\/strong>‘s sangeet<\/a> ceremony, scheduled for Friday. The<\/em> Times of India<\/em> also reports that Justin is in town for the sangeet.<\/p>\n

A sangeet is a pre-wedding event that takes place a few days before the actual wedding, and music and performance\u00a0are big parts of it. IndiaToday r<\/em>eports Justin’s performance will be “intimate” and include his hits, as well as an acoustic segment.<\/p>\n

Anant\u00a0is the youngest child Mukesh Ambani<\/strong>, who is worth an estimated $116 billion. In March,\u00a0Anant and\u00a0Radhika had a pre-wedding party. Rihanna<\/strong> showed up to perform, and guests included Bill Gates<\/strong>, Hillary Clinton <\/strong>and Mark Zuckerberg<\/strong>, People<\/em> reports.<\/p>\n

Why would Justin leave his pregnant wife and fly to India for this gig? Money. It’s rumored<\/a>\u00a0he’s being paid $10 million to perform at the event. Rihanna was reportedly paid $6 million for her performance in March.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mukesh’s daughter got married back in 2018 and the wedding ceremony reportedly<\/a> cost $100 million,\u00a0with a performance by Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
