As previously reported, a White Women for Kamala Harris call on July 25 attracted <strong>Connie Britton<\/strong>, <strong>Megan Rapinoe<\/strong> and <strong>Pink<\/strong>, and on July 29, a White Dudes for Harris call attracted <strong>Jeff Bridges<\/strong>, <strong>Mark Hamill<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong> Josh Groban<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the call, Josh said, &#8220;It&#8217;s sometimes a little bit of a scary thing to step out politically sometimes.&#8221; He added, &#8220;It&#8217;s always easy, especially in the entertainment industry, to say I&#8217;m going to step back. I am proud to raise my hand and to say that this is something that I believe so fully in.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The call raised $4 million in three hours, according to organizers.<\/p>\n<p>In other Josh news, on Friday he&#8217;ll be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C-Bef3jvBPf\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>releasing<\/strong><\/a> a duet version of the <strong>Sting<\/strong> song &#8220;Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot,&#8221; which he recorded with Broadway star <strong>Aaron Lazar<\/strong>. It appears on Lazar&#8217;s upcoming album,\u00a0<em>Impossible Dream,<\/em> which\u00a0arrives Aug. 23. Other guests on the album include Sting, <strong>Neil Patrick<\/strong> <strong>Harris<\/strong>, <strong>Leslie Odom Jr.<\/strong>, <strong>Kristin Chenoweth<\/strong> and <strong>Lin-Manuel Miranda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2024, ABC Audio.
