Chu<\/strong> is attached to direct the film, with producer <strong>Marc Platt<\/strong> developing.<\/p>\n<p>Britney first shared news of a project in the works on her social media on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Excited to share with my fans that I&#8217;ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt. He\u2019s always made my favorite movies \u2026 stay tuned,&#8221; Britney wrote on the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/britneyspears\/status\/1819058008128708721\">social platform X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/theankler.com\/\"><em>The Ankler<\/em><\/a>, Universal Pictures landed the rights to <em>The Woman in Me<\/em> after a fierce bidding war. There was also interest from <strong>Shonda Rhimes<\/strong>, <strong>Brad Pitt<\/strong>&#8216;s Plan B, <strong>Margot Robbie<\/strong>, Sony, Warner Brothers, Fox, Disney and Netflix.
