As usual,\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/strong> leads the nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards.<\/p>\n

Taylor’s video for “Fortnight,” her collaboration with\u00a0Post Malone<\/strong>, has earned her 10 nominations, including Video of the Year. If she wins she’ll be the only artist ever to capture that award five times, and the only artist to do it three times in a row. She previously won in 2022 for “All Too Well” and in 2023 for “Anti-Hero.” Among the other categories she’s nominated in: Best Direction, Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.<\/p>\n

Other top nominees include Post Malone,\u00a0Ariana Grande<\/strong>,\u00a0Eminem\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>all of whom have six nods;\u00a0Meghan Thee Stallion\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0SZA <\/strong>have\u00a0five each; and\u00a0LISA<\/strong>,\u00a0Olivia Rodrigo\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Teddy Swims\u00a0<\/strong>have\u00a0four apiece.<\/p>\n

These are Sabrina and Teddy’s first VMA nods;\u00a0Benson Boone <\/strong>is another first-timer this year.<\/p>\n

Fans can vote until Aug. 30 in 15 categories at vote.mtv.com,<\/a>\u00a0but voting for Best New Artist will be open up to and during the show.<\/p>\n

The VMAs will air live from UBS Arena in New York on Sept. 10.<\/p>\n
