This year, in addition to all the country duets he’s recorded, Post Malone<\/strong> has also sung with Taylor Swift<\/strong> on the #1 hit “Fortnight” and Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong> on her Cowboy Carter<\/em> track “Levii’s Jeans.” And while Posty is happy to collaborate with superstars like that, he’s really happy that he’s not as famous as they are.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0The New York Times<\/em><\/a>, the “I Had Some Help” singer notes, “I can\u2019t even imagine being at their level\u00a0\u2014 it must suck.\u201d He recalls that when he and Taylor did the “Fortnight” video shoot, Taylor needed to have “an umbrella and drapes over the golf cart so drones and a helicopter couldn\u2019t get footage.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s so much pressure,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, he has yet to even meet Beyonc\u00e9: He says she sent a representative to his house in Utah with a copy of their track, which was “under lock and key,” and they only corresponded via text. “It was terrifying,\u201d he tells the Times<\/em>.<\/p>\n

But despite his own multi-Platinum success, Posty says with characteristic humbleness that he’s “just honored to be in these people\u2019s vicinity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Posty’s star-studded country album,\u00a0F-1 Trillion,<\/em> featuring collabs with Blake Shelton<\/strong>, Lainey Wilson<\/strong>, Jelly Roll<\/strong>, Luke Combs<\/strong> and Dolly Parton<\/strong>, arrives Aug. 16.<\/p>\n
