If you missed the first airing of Billy Joel<\/strong>‘s Emmy-nominated CBS special\u00a0The 100th – Live from Madison Square Garden<\/em>\u00a0and the second airing, which took place after the network cut the first one short, fear not. The special, which documents the Piano Man’s 100th residency show at the legendary New York venue, will be aired a third time Friday at 9 p.m. ET\/PT.<\/p>\n

Elton John<\/strong> will provide the entertainment at this year’s City of Hope\u00a0Spirit of Life\u00ae Gala in October, an annual charity event that raises money for cancer and diabetes research.\u00a0Fred Armisen<\/strong> will host the gala, and magician David Blaine<\/strong> will also perform. This year’s honoree is Jay Marciano<\/strong>, the chairman and CEO of concert promoter AEG Presents.<\/p>\n

Rod Stewart <\/strong>will be performing<\/a> at the third annual Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival Beach Party<\/a>\u00a0in October. Rod’s performance will take place Friday, Oct. 25. Tickets are on sale now<\/a>. In addition to Rod, there will be a slew of celebrity chefs at the event, including Marcus Samuelsson<\/strong>, Daniel Bouloud<\/strong>\u00a0and Food Network stars\u00a0Amanda Freitag<\/strong>, Carla Hall<\/strong>, Maneet Chauhan<\/strong>, Geoffrey Zakarian<\/strong> and Scott Conant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
