On <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Hozier\/status\/1828114085138858212?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1828114085138858212%7Ctwgr%5E9532f69f6f6038ed5cbb68658a3d80698a6456ed%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.billboard.com%2Fmusic%2Fpop%2Fhozier-postpones-two-shows-vocal-issues-1235761787%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>social platform X<\/strong><\/a>, he thanked fans for their &#8220;kind support&#8221; while he&#8217;s been struggling vocally while &#8220;getting over a recent virus.&#8221; He wrote, &#8220;My voice just isn&#8217;t getting the chance it needs to recover properly.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Noting that &#8220;it breaks my heart&#8221; to postpone the shows, he added that he has to &#8220;give my health and vocal chords [sic] every chance of recovery for the sake of the rest of the tour.&#8221; He plans to reschedule the shows, he said.
