Forget Record Store Day: Later in September\u00a0it’ll be\u00a0Katy Perry <\/strong>Day at your local independent record store.\u00a0Listening parties for Katy’s new album,\u00a0143<\/em>, are being held in\u00a0record stores nationwide<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on Sept. 18, and there are multiple locations across 36 states hosting the parties. You can earn entrance to the listening parties by\u00a0preordering<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0a copy of\u00a0143\u00a0<\/em>on exclusive clear blue vinyl. The album comes out Sept. 20.<\/p>\n

Camila Cabello<\/strong> has announced<\/strong><\/a> a deluxe edition of her most recent album, C, XOXO<\/em>. The “Magic City” edition of the album, along with a new single called “Godspeed<\/strong><\/a>,” arrives Sept. 6. “always more stories to tell,” she wrote on Instagram. “some new songs for your night in Magic City.” “Magic City” is the nickname of Camila’s hometown, Miami.<\/p>\n

Britney Spears<\/strong> claims she’s working with Wicked<\/em> director\u00a0Jon M. Chu<\/strong>, who’s developing her biopic<\/strong><\/a>, on another project entirely. She wrote on Instagram,<\/strong><\/a> “The project I might be doing isn\u2019t a biopic story \u2026 it\u2019s a fictional musical where I play an extremely intelligent character !!! It\u2019s flattering to be in such good company like Jon Chu !!!\u201d<\/p>\n
