Elton John<\/strong> has had hits collaborating with artists like Dua Lipa<\/strong> and Britney Spears<\/strong> in recent years, and he now says he\u2019d be open to working with even more young female pop stars.<\/span><\/p>\n

In an interview with<\/span> <\/span><\/em>Variety<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a> connected to the Toronto Film Festival premiere of his documentary <\/span>Elton John: Never Too Late<\/span><\/em>, Elton mentioned some artists he’d love to work with, including\u00a0Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>, Billie Eilish<\/strong>, Olivia Rodrigo <\/strong>and\u00a0Charli XCX<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

“There are plenty of young singers around,\u201d he said.\u00a0“This has been the summer of the great female singers and songwriters.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Another artist mentioned was Taylor Swift<\/strong>, with Elton sharing, \u201cShe\u2019s a great songwriter, she\u2019s a great artist and she\u2019s a phenomenon.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI\u2019ve never seen a phenomenon like that since the Beatles<\/strong>, and she works her a** off, so good luck. Good luck to her.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
