The singer commented<\/a> on a TikTok that featured a screenshot of an old Facebook group titled “Stefani Germanotta<\/strong>, you will never be famous.” “Some people I went to college w made this way back when,” she said of the group, which used her birth name. “This is why you can\u2019t give up when people doubt you or put you down\u2014gotta keep going.”<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift<\/strong>\u2019s Instagram post<\/a> endorsing Kamala Harris<\/strong> is already having an impact. According to the U.S. General Services Administration, Taylor\u2019s post prompted over 400,000 visitors to vote.gov<\/a> through the link she shared within the first 24 hours, and 700,000 visitors overall. Last week the site was averaging around 30,000 visitors a day.<\/p>\n

Britney Spears<\/strong> knows a thing or two about iconic VMAs performances. The singer took to Instagram<\/a> Thursday to give her commentary on Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>\u2019s space-themed VMAs performance<\/a>, which included a reference to Britney\u2019s \u201cOops\u2026I Did It Again.\u201d \u201cWhy is she kissing an alien onstage?\u201d Britney said after watching the performance on YouTube. \u201cI adore her. I love her to death. I didn\u2019t understand that part. Why didn\u2019t she kiss a girl?\u201d<\/p>\n
