Jon Bon Jovi<\/strong>\u00a0has once again been recognized by his native New Jersey.\u00a0The rocker <\/span>revealed on Instagram<\/strong><\/span><\/a> that Sayreville High School renamed\u00a0its performing arts center after him Tuesday. It will now be known as the\u00a0Jon Bon Jovi Performing Arts Center and Music Suite.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, who was\u00a0once a student at the school, shared a picture of him posing next to the renamed building, along with photos with students,\u00a0sharing that he was \u201chumbled\u201d by the honor.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThanks to the students who painted this mural and the faculty who made this day so special,\u201d he wrote. “Once a Bomber always a Bomber.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

“If you remember one thing from our meeting today, know this, you are writing the story of your life,” Jon told students, according to\u00a0<\/span>MyCentralJersey.com<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0“Make it a great one, so that one day you can say, ‘Who says you can’t go home? There’s only one place they call me one of their own,'” a reference to Bon Jovi<\/strong>‘s hit song “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.”<\/span><\/p>\n
