Amanda Seyfried<\/strong> is rooting for Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong> to join a potential third Mamma Mia!<\/em> film.<\/p>\n

\u201cMamma Mia 3, let\u2019s go baby,\u201d Seyfried told ABC News Live<\/a>. \u201cEverybody says it\u2019s gonna happen. But I mean, I haven\u2019t seen a script.\u201d<\/p>\n

As part of Sabrina’s Short n’ Sweet tour, the pop star sings a different cover song at each concert. She performed the musical’s title ABBA<\/strong> track during her recent Madison Square Garden show in New York City, which prompted Seyfried to agree that Sabrina could play her character Sophie’s daughter in a third Mamma Mia!<\/em> film.<\/p>\n

Never mind the fact that Seyfried is just 13 years older than Sabrina \u2014 that’s on par with the franchise, which saw Cher<\/strong>, who is three years older than Meryl Streep<\/strong>, play the latter’s mother in the second film, the interviewer said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re right, actually, [it] doesn\u2019t matter,\u201d Seyfried said. \u201cYou know what? Old age makeup for me. That\u2019s what it will be. \u2026 I\u2019m an actor. I\u2019ll do it. If Sabrina Carpenter wants to play my daughter, I\u2019ll make it happen. It\u2019s fine. I\u2019m a big fan.\u201d<\/p>\n
