John<\/strong> Legend<\/strong> is set to\u00a0take\u00a0his four-piece band, his love of storytelling and his renditions of holiday classics on the road with the recently announced A Legendary Christmas tour.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

He spoke to <\/span>People<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/em>about the upcoming trek across the states, noting that what he wishes for the\u00a0tour is to bring “warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“My hope for these shows is that they feel like a gathering of friends by the fireside,” Legend says.<\/span><\/p>\n

From Dec. 2 to Dec. 19, Legend and his team will travel to 11 states, including California, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He’ll perform familiar holiday tunes\u00a0included on\u00a0his 2018 holiday album,\u00a0<\/span>A Legendary Christmas<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/a>,\u00a0<\/span><\/em>like “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and “Silver Bells.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Over the years, I’ve experienced the holidays in so many ways, and each version of me \u2014 from my childhood to now as a father \u2014 has shaped the way I approach this season,” Legend\u00a0tells\u00a0<\/span>People<\/span><\/em>. “I want to share that journey with the audience.”<\/span><\/p>\n
