Cher <\/strong>previously said on <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/span><\/em>\u00a0that she wouldn\u2019t be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame “if they gave me a million dollars,\u201d but apparently she changed her mind.<\/span><\/p>\n

The legendary singer was welcomed into the RRHOF Saturday night in Cleveland,\u00a0with her celebration kicking off the show. The opening number had\u00a0Dua Lipa<\/strong>\u00a0performing Cher’s hit\u00a0\u201cBelieve,”\u00a0which turned into a duet when Cher\u00a0joined her toward the end. Later Cher took the stage by herself, performing \u201cIf I Could Turn Back Time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Zendaya<\/strong>, who gave Cher\u2019s induction speech, paid tribute to her legendary fashion style with a barely there nude outfit reminiscent of Cher’s Bob Mackie<\/strong> looks.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her speech, Zendaya described Cher as \u201cso iconic she only needs one name,” noting, “It\u2019s impossible to measure the influence that Cher has had and continues to have on every one of us. She does it all and, might I add, really, really f****** well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cher has been eligible for the Hall of Fame since 1990 and joked in her speech about how long it took her to get in.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt was easier getting divorced from two men than getting into the RRHOF,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

She then credited her mom with her\u00a0persistence\u00a0and the fact that she’s still here making music.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy life has been just a roller coaster and the one that thing I\u00a0have never\u00a0done is I never\u00a0give up,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also taking part in Saturday\u2019s festivities were Kelly Clarkson<\/strong> and Demi Lovato<\/strong>, with both helping to welcome Foreigner<\/strong> into the Hall of Fame.<\/span><\/p>\n

Clarkson teamed with the band\u2019s original lead singer,\u00a0Lou Gramm<\/strong>, for\u00a0the band’s\u00a0#1 hit ballad \u201cI Want To Know Is Love Is,\u201d while Demi teamed with Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong> drummer Chad Smith<\/strong> and Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong> guitarist Slash<\/strong> to perform \u201cFeels Like The First Time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

On Jan. 1, ABC will air the special\u00a02024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony<\/em>, featuring performance highlights.<\/p>\n
