Cher<\/strong> is working on a new album, and we should all fully appreciate it\u00a0when it arrives, because it just might be the last one we get from the ageless diva.<\/p>\n

The British paper\u00a0The Sun<\/em><\/a> <\/em>reports that during an event<\/a> in London’s Lyceum Theater to promote her memoir,\u00a0 Cher said of her new project, “This is probably my last album that I\u2019m gonna do. I\u2019m really excited. They are great songs and I\u2019m just really excited that I\u2019m doing it.” She cracked, \u201cI\u2019m really excited to be doing anything now.”<\/p>\n

When the album arrives, it’ll be her first collection of original music since 2013’s Closer to the Truth.<\/em><\/p>\n

Cher, who’s 78, also joked about her advanced age, telling the audience, “I\u2019m older than dirt now, O.K.? I\u2019m the oldest person I meet in almost every room unless I\u2019m in an old folks\u2019 home.”<\/p>\n

“I keep having to tell these [younger] girls like, \u2018Get over yourself, get out there. You\u2019ve got your whole life ahead of you,'” she continued. “<\/span>I don\u2019t care if you\u2019re 50. I\u2019d give anything to be 60 again. I was a f****** hottie!”<\/p>\n

Cher also noted that despite what the calendar says, she doesn’t think of herself as 78.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s weird … because I know I\u2019m older, but I don\u2019t know how to feel it,” she said. “I don\u2019t know how to feel any different than the way I\u2019ve always felt.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Commenting on her penchant for dating younger men, Cher pointed out, “I like hanging with younger people,<\/em> not just men. I like young people because a lot of my friends don\u2019t want to have that much fun. They can just go off and be old fogies.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Cher is dating Alexander “A.E.” Edwards<\/strong>, a music producer who’s 38.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
