\ufeffIt turns out Michael\u00a0Bubl\u00e9<\/strong>‘s stint on The Voice<\/em> may just be his first step toward total media domination.<\/p>\n

Michael, who made his debut on the NBC show this season, is also committed to season 27, which will find him coaching alongside John Legend<\/strong>, Kelsea Ballerini<\/strong> and the returning OG\u00a0Adam Levine<\/strong>. But beyond that, he’s not sure he can do more seasons due to\u00a0having what he tells the Toronto Sun<\/em> is “so much stuff on the go.”<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve got a movie I\u2019m doing, a big TV show thing I\u2019m doing,” he says, without giving any details. “I\u2019ve got my Fraser & Thompson whiskey. \u2026 There\u2019s lots. My manager would call\u00a0The Voice\u00a0<\/em>my reset, so it\u2019s been a blast.”<\/p>\n

While we wait for more information on those projects, we can enjoy Michael’s new\u00a0holiday\u00a0single, “Maybe This Christmas<\/a>,” a duet with Carly Pearce<\/strong> that Michael co-wrote with fellow Canadian musician Jann Arden<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“Jann Arden and I knew it was special. We knew it came from a deep and earnest place,” Michael says. “Jann and I said, \u2018As nice as it is to write about Sleigh Bells and Santa and presents,\u2019 this is a really tough time. The world is in a tough place. We\u2019re all sitting on a very thin wire and we wanted to do something special.”<\/p>\n

“Listen, you hope to write something that will live forever and go into the pantheon, but at the end of the day as an artist you want to write a song that makes people feel something,” he says. “Jann and I called each other \u2026 and said, \u2018Wow, we have done something really cool here.\u2019 We hope that it brings hope.”<\/p>\n
