In late 2023, Cher<\/strong> <\/span>said on <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show <\/span><\/em><\/a>that she didn’t understand why she hadn’t been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame yet. Having been eligible since 1990, she\u00a0contended that at that point she wouldn’t be\u00a0interested in being in it\u00a0“if they gave me a million dollars.\u201d But before another year had gone by, she was a newly minted Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee.<\/span><\/p>\n

In Cleveland in October, Cher was inducted into the Hall by Zendaya<\/strong>, who said of the ageless entertainer, “She does it all and, might I add, really, really f****** well.\u201d She and Dua Lipa<\/strong> teamed up for a duet of “Believe,” and then she sang “If I Could Turn Back Time” solo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In her speech, Cher cracked, “It was easier getting divorced from two men than getting into the RRHOF.” But, she noted, “The one that thing I have never done is I never give up.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You can watch Cher’s induction and performance Jan. 1\u00a0 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC’s\u00a0<\/span>2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony <\/span><\/em>special, featuring highlights of the October ceremony. It’ll also be available the next day on Hulu and Disney+.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also in October, Cher headlined the first <\/span>Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show<\/span><\/em> since 2018, singing “Strong Enough” and “Believe.”<\/span><\/p>\n

In November, Cher debuted her long-awaited autobiography,\u00a0<\/span>Cher: The Memoir \u2014 Part One,<\/span><\/em> which covers her childhood through the start of her acting career. It was chock-full of tales of her outrageous life: her difficult childhood; her ups and downs with men, including her two late ex-husbands,\u00a0Sonny Bono<\/strong> and Gregg Allman<\/strong>;\u00a0and, of course, <\/span>her music career<\/span><\/a>. It allowed Cher to add “<\/span>New York Times<\/span><\/em> <\/span>bestselling author<\/span><\/a>” to her extensive resume;<\/span> Part Two<\/span><\/em>\u00a0is due in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also in 2024, Cher, 78, continued her relationship with music producer Alexander “AE” Edwards<\/strong>, who’s 38. The two have been linked since 2022 and she’s working with him on a new album, which she\u00a0said\u00a0during her book tour in November would “probably be my last.”<\/span><\/p>\n
