In December, Spotify announced that its most-streamed song of 2024 was Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong>‘s “Espresso.” Well, in the streaming world it’s apparently easy come, easy go.<\/p>\n

Variety<\/em> reports that before 2024 ended, the Billie Eilish<\/strong> hit “Birds of a Feather<\/a>” managed to surpass “Espresso” and capture the title of the most-streamed Spotify song. It was streamed over 1.775 billion times, versus 1.774 billion times for Sabrina’s hit.<\/p>\n

“Birds of a Feather” peaked at #2 on the\u00a0Billboard<\/em> Hot 100 and will compete at the Grammy Awards in multiple categories, including Record of the Year. “Espresso,” which peaked at #3, will also compete for Record of the Year.<\/p>\n

In her annual Vanity Fair<\/em> interview video, Billie revealed<\/a> that in 2023, before her album HIT ME HARD AND SOFT<\/em> even came out, she felt that “Birds of a Feather” would be the “real hit” from the album.<\/p>\n
