Britney Spears<\/strong> is just one of many celebrities who’ve been affected by the deadly LA wildfires.<\/p>\n

She wrote on Instagram Thursday, “I hope you are all doing OK !!! I had to evacuate my home and I\u2019m driving 4 hours to a hotel !!!” She added, “Most people may not even be on their phones !!! I wasn\u2019t the past two days because I had no electricity to charge and I just got my phone back !!! I pray you\u2019re all doing well and I send my love\u00a0 !!!”<\/p>\n

She also posted<\/a> video of a closeup of a pair of doll’s legs wearing a pair of fancy, bejeweled high-heeled shoes, noting, “I’m posting these adorable shoes to lift people’s spirits!!!”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, John Mayer<\/strong> has taken to Instagram<\/a>\u00a0to clarify what’s being lost in the fires, other than lives.<\/p>\n

Posting a photo of a file folder, he wrote, “This is the most valuable thing I own. It\u2019s a folder of photos of my father, spanning his life from being a baby, an educator, a husband and a father. It\u2019s the only evidence of his life that will exist over time … when you hear someone say they\u2019ve lost everything in a fire, this is much of that everything, if not all of it.”<\/p>\n

He continued, “Just behind the immeasurable loss of life is the loss of the proof of life …. It\u2019s not about the art and the collectibles. It\u2019s the photos, the letters … and the things we keep to remind us that those we loved were here … May those who have lost so much find some semblance of hope and support from their family and friends.”<\/p>\n

John clarified in the comments that for now, his LA home is safe.<\/p>\n

Celebrities who’ve lost homes include Billy Crystal<\/strong>, Paris Hilton<\/strong>, Mandy Moore <\/strong>and Ricki Lake<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
