Taylor Swift<\/strong> is having a marvelous time expanding everything.<\/p>\n

Taylor is adding on to Holiday House, her home in Rhode Island that inspired her folklore<\/em> song “the last great american dynasty<\/strong><\/a>.”\u00a0The Providence Journal<\/strong><\/em><\/a>\u00a0reports that according to a building permit issued in December, the home, which is already 11,000 square feet, will be gaining a new bedroom and bathrooms, and the kitchen will undergo renovations.<\/p>\n

The planned bedroom is 16 feet by 24 feet; there’s no word on how many extra bathrooms are being added. That, along with the kitchen, is expected to cost $1.7 million for labor and materials.<\/p>\n

Taylor bought the house in 2013 for nearly $18 million and has thrown many star-studded parties there over the years. During one weekend in August 2024,\u00a0People<\/strong><\/em><\/a>,\u00a0TMZ\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0The Daily Mail\u00a0<\/em>reported that Taylor hosted her boyfriend, Travis Kelce<\/strong>,\u00a0and a bunch of other pals at the mansion, including\u00a0Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Ryan Reynolds<\/strong>; Travis’ brother,\u00a0Jason<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and his wife,\u00a0Kylie<\/strong>;\u00a0Bradley Cooper<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and his daughter,\u00a0Lea<\/strong>, 7; and Chiefs quarterback\u00a0Patrick Mahomes<\/strong><\/a>, his wife,\u00a0Brittany<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and their daughter,\u00a0Sterling<\/strong>, 3.<\/p>\n

“The last great american dynasty” is about\u00a0Rebekah Harkness<\/strong>, the real-life woman<\/strong><\/a> who used to live at Holiday House and had, as Taylor sang, “a marvelous time ruining everything.”<\/p>\n
