Ariana Grande<\/strong> and Selena Gomez<\/strong> are continuing their hot streak when it comes to award nominations.<\/p>\n

Both stars have received nods for Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTAs<\/strong><\/a>, the U.K. equivalent of the Oscars. Ari is nominated for Wicked, <\/em>while Selena’s nod is for\u00a0Emilia P\u00e9rez. <\/em>Both women were also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Golden Globes.<\/p>\n

Overall,\u00a0Emilia P\u00e9rez<\/em> received 11 nominations; Wicked<\/em> got seven, but it was snubbed in the best picture category. The leading nominee is Conclave,<\/em> with 12 nods.<\/p>\n

The BAFTAs ceremony, hosted by David Tennant<\/strong>, takes place February 16. In the U.S., you’ll be able to stream\u00a0it on BritBox.<\/p>\n

Because so many people who vote for the BAFTAs also vote for the Oscars, they are considered a decent predictor for those nominations, which will be handed out Jan. 23.<\/p>\n
