Katy Perry<\/strong>\u00a0will be one of more than a dozen performers at the FireAid benefit concerts<\/strong><\/a> taking place in Inglewood, California, on Jan. 30. But despite the destruction and death that the LA wildfires have caused, she says she doesn’t expect the shows\u00a0to have a sad vibe.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Access Hollywood<\/em>, Katy says<\/strong><\/a>, “I think there will be a hopeful energy, a connected energy and an energy of community.” She says<\/strong><\/a> performing at the show is “my way of supporting and doing my little part.”<\/p>\n

Katy told Access Hollywood<\/em>\u00a0that when she was asked to perform, she told organizers, “Whatever you need me to do. If you need me to stand on a corner, if you need me to go back to the farmers market and busk, I will be there.” As fans know, Katy got her start performing at the farmers market in her hometown of Santa Barbara, California.<\/p>\n

In addition to Katy, the concert lineup includes Billie Eilish<\/strong>, Olivia Rodrigo<\/strong>, Lady Gaga<\/strong>, No Doubt<\/strong>, Jelly Roll<\/strong>, Alanis Morissette<\/strong>, John Mayer<\/strong>, Green Day<\/strong>, Pink<\/strong>, Red Hot Chili Peppers<\/strong>, Gracie Abrams<\/strong>,\u00a0Stevie Wonder<\/strong>, Rod Stewart<\/strong>, Stevie Nicks<\/strong>, Joni Mitchell <\/strong>and Sting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

“I’m really inspired by our California community,” Katy says. “How they’ve all come together, how they’ve organized, how quick they’ve been, how kind they’ve been … there are so many organizations that are boots-on-the-ground, helping out.”<\/p>\n

Tickets for the shows are on sale now, but they will also stream on multiple platforms, including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Paramount+ and YouTube.<\/p>\n
