Backstreet Boys<\/strong> have something up their sleeves, fashionwise, when it comes to their new residency at Sphere Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Billboard<\/em><\/a>, AJ McLean<\/strong> describes the upcoming shows as \u201cone incredible experience,\u201d and Nick Carter<\/strong> says fans can expect \u201csensory overload.\u201d AJ also said there might be “some new adaptations of things” during their set and is asking fans who are coming to the shows to bring\u00a0“something all white” to wear. He didn’t elaborate.<\/p>\n

In addition to performing their 1999 Millennium<\/em> album in full, the shows will feature some of their greatest hits, as well as the group’s new single, “Hey.” \u201cDie hard [sic] fans are going to get a great experience, a great nostalgic moment,\u201d says AJ.<\/p>\n

Howie Dorough<\/strong> adds that while working on the set list, \u201c[We were] reminiscing about some of the songs like \u2018The Perfect Fan\u2019 and \u2018No One Else Comes Close to You\u2019 [and \u2018Spanish] Eyes,\u2019 which are songs that the fans probably haven\u2019t heard since the\u00a0Millennium\u00a0<\/em>tour.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Into the Millennium<\/em> residency starts July 11 and will run for 12 shows, wrapping on Aug. 3. The general\u00a0sale begins\u00a0Friday at 9 a.m. PT.<\/p>\n

Backstreet Boys will be the first pop act to play at the Sphere, which has already hosted U2<\/strong>, Phish<\/strong>, the Eagles<\/strong> and Dead & Company<\/strong>. As for who they’d like to see perform there, Kevin Richardson<\/strong> tells Billboard<\/em> he’d pick Coldplay<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
