If you’re ever in the same room with Taylor Swift<\/strong> and decide you want to go up and talk to her, you may want to keep in mind that not even Nikki Glaser\u00a0<\/strong>\u2014\u00a0<\/strong>a\u00a0celebrity superfan who spent close to $100,000<\/a> attending Eras Tour shows\u00a0\u2014 will do that.<\/p>\n

In the new episode<\/a> of Dax Shepard<\/strong>‘s Armchair Expert<\/em> podcast, Glaser explains why she avoids Taylor like the plague, even though she worships her. “Everyone wants a piece [of her]. [So] I will never be the one to be like, \u2018Excuse me,’ ever,” she says. “It\u2019s almost rude, what I do when I\u2019m in the same room as Taylor Swift because I won\u2019t even look her way.”<\/p>\n

The Golden Globes host reveals that no matter how many friends tell her, “Go up and say something to her,” she won’t.<\/p>\n

“There\u2019s no way that she\u2019s dying for that on a night like this where everyone\u2019s doing it, and of course she would be so nice. I know exactly how it would go down,” Glaser says.<\/p>\n

“I just don\u2019t want to take someone\u2019s energy away, that I require their energy to be put into making great\u00a0music,” she reasons. “That\u2019s what I don\u2019t want: her to make a less great song \u2018cause she had to be like, \u2018Nice to meet you,\u2019 and hold me as I\u2019m crying. No, we don\u2019t need that. I can\u2019t bother her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Glaser has said that she attended 22 Eras Tour concerts, but she told People<\/em> that she justified the cost because she doesn’t have children. As she explained, “I did look up how much it cost to raise a kid. And so once I saw that number, I thought, \u2018It’s no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.'”<\/p>\n
