{"id":108635,"date":"2025-01-23T18:04:53","date_gmt":"2025-01-23T18:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/newstalklc\/nashville-school-shooting-suspects-social-media-linked-to-madison-school-shooters-social-media-sources\/"},"modified":"2025-01-23T18:04:53","modified_gmt":"2025-01-23T18:04:53","slug":"nashville-school-shooting-suspects-social-media-linked-to-madison-school-shooters-social-media-sources","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lascrucestoday.com\/newstalklc\/nashville-school-shooting-suspects-social-media-linked-to-madison-school-shooters-social-media-sources\/","title":{"rendered":"Nashville school shooting suspect&#8217;s social media linked to Madison school shooter&#8217;s social media: Sources"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.amazonaws.com\/syndication.abcaudio.com\/files\/2025-01-23\/News_nashvilleschool_012325.jpg\" alt><figcaption>Metro Nashville Police Department<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>(NASHVILLE) &#8212; A social media account connected to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/shots-fired-nashville-high-school-shooter-longer-threat\/story?id=117984973\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nashville high school shooting suspect<\/a>\u00a0may have been in contact with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/abundant-life-christian-school-shooting-madison-police-identify\/story?id=116835038\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suspected Madison, Wisconsin, school shooter&#8217;s<\/a>\u00a0social media account, according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n<p>Solomon Henderson, a 17-year-old student, allegedly opened fire in the cafeteria at Antioch High School on Wednesday, killing 16-year-old Josselin Corea Escalante and injuring a 17-year-old, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson, who was armed with a pistol, then died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The injured 17-year-old boy suffered a graze wound and has since been released from the hospital, police said.<\/p>\n<p>A motive is not known, police said Wednesday, but according to sources, Henderson left a substantial body of data online and on social media.<\/p>\n<p>A Pinterest account linked to Henderson features photos of past school shooters, including the shooters from Parkland, Florida, and Uvalde, Texas, according to a source.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson&#8217;s social media presence also shows he may have been in contact with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/abundant-life-christian-school-shooter-wisconsin\/story?id=116847316\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">15-year-old Natalie Rupnow<\/a>, who opened fire at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, last month, according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n<p>Rupnow, who went by Samantha, also died after the shooting, in which two were killed and several wounded.<\/p>\n<p>Rupnow&#8217;s account may have been following Henderson&#8217;s account at the time of the Wisconsin shooting in December, according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n<p><em>This is a developing story.
