Emergency crews are responding,\u201d authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>Military officials said that stopping on the Richardson Highway, the road adjacent to Eielson AFB, \u201cposes a safety risk and impedes recovery efforts\u201d and reminded people that federal law prohibits any photography along that stretch of highway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur people are our most important resource, and we are committed in ensuring their safety and security,\u201d said Colonel Paul Townsend, commander of the 354th Fighter Wing. \u201cI can assure you the United States Air Force will conduct a thorough investigation in hopes to minimize the chances of such occurrences from happening again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2025, ABC Audio.
