NM State Announces Kickoff Times for Five Contests
Kickoff time for August 27th season opener to be announced soon.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Head coach Jerry Kill and the NM State football program have announced the kickoff times for five of the six home games at Aggie Memorial Stadium in 2022.
Mario Moccia put on a successful “Stuff The Stadium” promotion where over 100 businesses and individuals purchased discounted tickets for elementary school children and community service clubs. After three weeks on the road against Minnesota, UTEP, and Wisconsin, NM State will return to Aggie Memorial Stadium for four consecutive home games. Kicking off the month long stretch in Las Cruces, the Aggies will host Hawai’I at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24. The game will be NM State’s annual Ag Game, honoring the school’s rich agricultural traditions. On October 1, Florida International will travel to New Mexico to take on the Aggies. With a kickoff time of 6:00 p.m., the Aggies look to move to 2-0 all-time against the Panthers with the only previous meeting coming in 2004. After a bye week, the Aggies will host New Mexico for Hispanic Heritage Day, presented by Coors Light on October 15. The Battle of I-25 will kick off at 6:00 p.m. as the two schools meet for the 112th time. The homestand will conclude on October 22 when San Jose State travels to Aggie Memorial Stadium for an afternoon contest. NM State’s annual homecoming game will kick off at 4:00 p.m. After a flight to Amherst, Massachusetts to take on UMass, the Aggies will return home to take on Lamar for Senior Day on November 12. Doubling as Military Appreciation Day, kickoff between the Aggies and Cardinals comes at 2:00 p.m. in the season’s final home game. Kickoff time for the road contest with UMass has not yet been announced. NM State will return to the road to round out the regular season with a pair of road contests against Missouri and Liberty. Neither school has announced kickoff times for the final games of the season. Kickoff times for road contests with UTEP, Minnesota, and Wisconsin have all been previously announced. The trip to El Paso on September 10 will take place under the lights with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. While heading north, the Aggies will face Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 1 before heading to Camp Randall for a 1:30 p.m. kick on September 17 against Wisconsin. Both the Minnesota and Wisconsin games will air on the Big Ten Network.
