In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, New Mexico State University’s Chicano Programs invites all campus members and the public to come together starting this week to join festivities honoring the Latinx community and its cultural contributions to NMSU.

NMSU’s new vice president for equity, inclusion, and diversity, Teresa Maria Linda Scholz, will also speak at the Sept. 15 event. This year marks the first time NMSU will commemorate National Hispanic Heritage Month with a diversity leader.
