W. Silver Recycling Announced as Exhibit Sponsor at El Paso Children’s Museum and Science Center

EL PASO, TX—August 12, 2021—The El Paso Children’s Museum and Science Center is pleased to announce that W. Silver Recycling, an international company headquartered in downtown El Paso, has committed to the sponsorship of Puzzle It, a unique zone within the exhibit space.

“We thank W. Silver Recycling for this generous gift,” said Barry Van Deman, Executive Director of the El Paso Children’s Museum and Science Center.  “It is an investment in the future for the children and families of El Paso and the binational community.”

Puzzle It is dedicated to creative problem-solving challenges. Museum visitors will be able to check out a puzzle kit and apply skills for thinking laterally, thinking together, and thinking outside the box. A wide range of difficulty levels and puzzle genres in English and Spanish will ensure there is something for all kinds of thinkers. Puzzle It will also serve as a place for gathering, reflecting, and recharging within the museum and science center, and is located on the third level of the space.

“We are really motivated by the Quality of Life initiatives here in El Paso, as well as the development and resurgence of downtown. The El Paso Children’s Museum and Science Center will be a world-class facility and present tremendous opportunities for our city’s youth,” said Lane Gaddy, CEO of W. Silver Recycling.

Operating for more than 100 years, W. Silver Recycling, a family-owned business, is one of the nation’s leading recyclers, with a presence covering the Southwest United States and Mexico. Gaddy is the third generation to work for W. Silver Recycling, which was started by his great-grandfather William Silver.  He and his wife, Allison Glass, reside in El Paso and are raising two children.  For more information about W.
