The holidays are a good time of year for people to add a new furry family member to the home because many people spend more time at home from Thanksgiving through New Year’s,” said Michel Meunier, APA’s Executive Director. “We have many wonderful cats, kittens, and dogs for you to meet and see if they are a good match for you. When you adopt an animal from us, it opens up a space for us to rescue the next one from the municipal animal shelter or community.”

About ACTion Programs for Animals

APA offers lifesaving programs and services to rescue at-risk companion animals in Doña Ana County and supports people and their pets in living healthy and happy lives together. We envision a time when all companion animals in our community are valued and treated with respect and kindness. Since May 2012, APA has rescued more than 6,800 animals. The majority of these have been dogs and cats/kittens pulled from the municipal shelter. APA is able to do this through volunteer work of rescue/foster coordinators, foster families and donations. For more information about APA, email mail@apalascruces.org, text 575-644-0505, call 575-571-4654, or visit www.apalascruces.org.
