All Doña Ana Community College (DACC) students are invited to celebrate our community with an event focused on healthy living and the environment.
The event, Celebrating Community at DACC, will be held on Tuesday, April 8th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Espina campus, 3400 S. Espina inside Alex Sanchez Hall. This is a free event with talks, food, games and a presentation about our relationship to the environment, and fundamental human rights.
The event is sponsored through funding by the National Endowment for the Humanities which funds projects related to history, philosophy, literature, language, ethics, law, archaeology, political theory, comparative religion, anthropology, sociology and media & cultural studies.
There will also be an open mic session for students to join in and have discussions on topics that relate to them.
