City of Las Cruces Veterans Day Closures & Parade Information

In observance of Veterans Day, most City of Las Cruces offices and facilities will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Emergency services, including police and fire, will remain fully operational. City Offices & Facilities Closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11:

• Castaneda Service Center (Parks & Recreation Admin Offices)
• East Mesa Recreation Center
• Youth Development & Diversion Learning Center
• Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center
• Las Cruces Museum System (all locations)
• Las Cruces Public Libraries (all branches)
• Meerscheidt Recreation Center
• Rio Grande Theatre
• All Senior Programs facilities and services
• South Central Solid Waste Authority (administrative offices)
• Visit Las Cruces
• Transit Administrative Offices

Open or Operating with Regular Hours:

• Solid Waste Collection (residential & commercial)
• Foothills Landfill – 555 S. Sonoma Ranch Blvd.
• Roadrunner Transit & Vamonos – Regular service
• South Central Solid Waste Transfer Station – 2865 W. Amador Ave.
• Corralitos Landfill & County Collection Sites – Regular hours
• Las Cruces Natatorium – Open 7:30 am to noon
• Regional Aquatic Center – Open 7:30 am to noon

The annual Veterans Day Parade will take place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11 am in Downtown Las Cruces. Bring your family, friends, and flags to show your support for those who have served!
