Two staff members from Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be featured and recognized in an upcoming photo project.
DACC Film and Digital Media Instructor Natalie Streander and Creative Media Technology student aide Melody Godby were both selected for the 2025 Desert Heroine’s Project. This annual project honors women in Doña Ana County and is put on by NMCo, Success Partnership and Ngage NM.
This year’s theme is “Moving Forward Together—Women Educating & Inspiring Generations”, which celebrates the profound impact of mentorship and the unbreakable bonds that guide women toward leadership, creativity, and personal growth. A gallery opening of the project will be on Friday, May 2nd at the Mad Hatter Gallery, 221 N. Main Street from 5 to 7 p.m.
