Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is calling all families. They, along with DACC students, are invited to celebrate the upcoming family day events.
The college is hosting three Dia de la Familia events at its south county campuses. The events, which are a day of remembrance, are being sponsored by DACC’s Student Services, Academic Affairs and the Cultural Diversity Committee. The events will also showcase some of the programs at the south county campuses. All three events will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at:

Gadsden Center, 1700 E. O’Hara Rd., Anthony, NM from 1-4 p.m. inside the commons area. There will be a costume contest, free games, activities and chalk drawing.
-
Sunland Park Center, 3365 McNutt Rd., Sunland Park, NM from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be free games and candy, including information about DACC’s south-county Nursing Program.

“Having fun events such as these are very important to us,” says Dr. Josefina Carmona, dean of Health Sciences. “We have been working diligently to expand our health sciences services to those living in the south county and we want to let the public know what is available, while offering fun activities for families.”
All events are free to the public.
