Doña Ana Community College (DACC) will be hosting a free music concert featuring the world premiere of a work by two award-winning musicians.
The performance will be held on Friday, December 5th at 1 p.m. at the East Mesa campus auditorium, 2800 Sonoma Ranch Blvd. Musicians include John De La Paz, DACC associate professor of Music, Dr. Jeffrey Brooks, University of New Mexico associate professor of Music, and Dr. Benjamin Loeb, internationally renowned conductor, pianist, and entrepreneur, and recently nominated for a Grammy.
The performance will include the world premiere of two pieces: “Little Foal” by Gary Kuo, a two-time Emmy award-winning composer, and “Seanscéalta ‘Tales of Long Ago’” by R.A. Moulds. The two pieces were commissioned by De La Paz, Dr. Brooks, and Dr. Loeb.
The recital is free and open to the public.
