Doña Ana Community College (DACC) is asking the public for costumes so that children can experience a fun Halloween.
DACC is hosting the 3rd annual Halloween Costume Drive for students at Chaparral Elementary School. The drive is being put on by the college’s Financial Aid office. Costumes go to underprivileged children who may not be able to dress up due to monetary or other issues.
“This is about making a difference in a child’s life,” says Michelle Lopez, director of DACC’s Financial Aid. “Just to witness the joy and excitement the costumes bring is truly something priceless.”
Donations of gently used or new costumes can be dropped off at any DACC Financial Aid office at the following locations:
The deadline to donate is Friday, October 22nd, at 5 p.m.
